The race, first held in the 70’s and early 80’s, is being brought back to life by a committee of dedicated volunteers and the New Bern Chamber of Commerce. It is being held Saturday, June 23 at Union Point Park. There are four different Race categories Kayak/Canoe, Stand Up Paddle Board, build your own Paddle Rafts, and build your own Pedal Rafts.
